The research discusses the Teaching of Arabic Language in Government Higher Education Institutions in Kenya for academic years 2010 – 2015 . The research aims to recognize the Kenya governmental universities and colleges that teach Arabic language and problems of curriculum, lecturers, learners, and educational environment. The problem of the research is limited in the following question: what are theproblems facing Arabic language learning in the governmental higher educational in Kenya, and what are the solution of them? This research will benefit the officials of Ministry of High Education in Kenya to deal with the question of Arabic language learning, Kenay High Education institutions in Kenya, and researcher in the field of Arabic language learning to non-Arabic speakers. The Descriptive and analytical methodologies were used to achieve the goal of the research; the researcher used interview and questionnaire. The questionnaire was applied on a random sampl of 50 students and all lecturers of the governmental universities and colleges in Kenya for the acadimic years (2010-2015) with a rate of (25%) of the original society members. The researcher used a number of methods, and statistical manipulations. After the necessary statistical analysis the research obtained the following findings:- 1- The objectives of the Arabic language curriculum in Kenya universities are clear and specific. 2- Language content achieves the desired goals of learning the Arabic language. 3- The best methods according to the Arabic lecturers is grammer - translation method. 4- Board and book are the only teaching aid used for Teaching Arabic. 5- Evaluation methods used in Kenya universities helps to achieve the educational goals. 6- Most of the Arabic language teachers are not specialized in teaching Arabic to non-Arabic speakers. 7- The most difficult skills facing the Arabic language learners are speaking and writing. 8- The Arabic language is used only in the class. Based on the study findings the researcher recommended the following:- 1- It is highly recommended to use audio-visual devices in teaching Arabic to enhance the skill of listening. 2- To train Arabic language lecturers the methods of teaching Arabic to non- Arabic speakers. 3- To provide Arabic language sections of modern aids of teaching Arabic in Kenya universities. 4- To create a learning environment at the university which will help students to speak Arabic
